We had a wonderful dinner tonight. There were 5 adults and a 2 kids (3 year old and a 1.5 year old). The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped entertain the kids and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect. I would recommend the sangarita, frozen and just strong enough! we enjoyed all our entrees and they were even able to accommodate my father who is picky and vegan. They even swapped out his refied beans for black beans. We can recommend the veggie fajitas, pineapple chicken fajitas, pork tacos, and the steak. You also get your money’s worth with the kids chicken tenders and fries. We can’t wait to come back next time we visit

Great mexican resturant. Went on a Tuesday evening. They had a mariachi band from 5 til 7. One of the employees sang a song. Food was good a combination of Mexican and tex mex.

I'm a native California raised on Mexican food and it has been difficult finding a good Mexican restaurant in Central Florida. My gold standard is a Chile Relleno and blended/frozen Margarita. Both were terrific. We'll be back!

My wife and I have eaten at every Mexican restaurant in The Villages/Lady Lake and this one is our favorite. Quick, courteous service and reasonable prices for very large portions - highly recommended! This place definitely sets itself apart from nearby Mexican joints with their service and quality of food. Other places nearby are okay but Ay Jalisco is a little better in each area. The queso is on the pricy side, but you do get a very generous portion, so it works out. Make sure to go during 2-for-1 margarita time if you're into that. The bar is well stocked and they have some of the best margaritas around!

We were recently in this restaurant and were eager to eat this plate "fried red snapper Mexican style". What a disappointment! The fish were very small, skinny and over fried. The whole plate contained food in small quantities vs the old plate where I couldn't eat it all because it was a lot. This time we went home hungry. The old plate had a humongous fish and the rest of the food was in bigger proportions and it cost was 17.99 now it's 25.99 but much less food. Mind you, I am not complaining about the price, I understand that, but the size of the food proportions. Also, We didn't like the tasteless salsa they serve with the chips. It's tomato paste liquified with pieces of onion in it. They raised the prices and lowered the quantity and quality...):

We've been going here for years. The chx tortilla is great but its a lot to eat, so we go when the weather is cool or rainy. Otherwise its too much!
